How it works

A traceable path from source to publishing decision.

The Windows desktop workflow keeps each step connected to the same source video. Local production can run automatically while uncertain evidence is held for review.

The workflow

Five steps, with clear state boundaries.

01

Register an authorized source

Discover or ingest a source work, confirm that it is a usable video, and retain its media and origin evidence.

02

Produce a localized candidate

Transcribe speech, translate approved text, generate localized audio, align timing, and render subtitles and video.

03

Run quality checks

Check the candidate's technical integrity and source binding. The configured final gate can adopt an eligible candidate locally; unresolved questions move to a human exception queue.

04

Assign and schedule

Place an adopted video in unique local inventory, assign it to the intended account, and choose an available future local slot.

05

Confirm a publishing action

Review the selected account, video, caption, and settings. The current manual workflow requires the user to take the final TikTok publish action.

06

Record the outcome

Keep local preparation, upload evidence, and verified or user-confirmed publication status distinct for follow-up and duplicate prevention.

Platform boundaries

A local schedule is not a TikTok post.

Preparing media and assigning a future time happen within the desktop workflow. Actual remote actions depend on a supported posting path and the relevant account's status. Official remote posting requires developer configuration, platform permissions, and account authorization before it can be used.

Independent application. Video Localization Workbench is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok. Platform availability and review requirements are controlled by TikTok.
